Every great treat begins with a simple, pure joy – the satisfaction of creation, the delight of sharing something delicious, and the spark of a unique idea. For us, that spark ignited with a love for transforming the humble kernel of corn into a canvas for boundless flavor.

Popcuterie began not just with a passion for gourmet popcorn and snacks, but with a profound personal journey fueled by love, legacy, and a mother’s cherished dream. My name is Nancy Dibert, CEO of Epic Marketing Consultants Corporation, a longtime marketing strategist, Program Director and instructor at The University of Delaware, Founder of The Epic Collaborative Foundation, wife of 42+ years, mother to two adult children and their spouses, MeeMee to three grandchildren, but more importantly, a daughter. It was during a challenging period, spending countless hours with my mother in her final months, that I rediscovered the simple, yet profound, joy of creating.

My mother, who adored TikTok and the vibrant communities she found there, was particularly captivated by the world of treats. She loved popcorn, cake pops, cookies, roasted nuts, marshmallows – anything sweet, artisanal, and crafted with care. She spent hours watching TikTok videos of treat makers.Β 

My mother battled her sixth cancer from a nursing facility and I spent almost every waking hour with her, coming home to make meals to take back. It was during those quiet moments, as I began making treats for her and her caregivers at the nursing home, that I found a measure of solace. My creations, made with love and a touch of my marketing expertise to make them beautiful, became a small but significant source of happiness for her and those around her, earning me the affectionate nickname “the treat lady.”

My mother’s vision was clear: she saw the joy these treats brought and believed we could turn it into a business, a true “POP” of happiness we could share, and a way to make a real difference. Even as she battled for her life, her entrepreneurial spirit and love for connection shone through, inspiring me to carry her dream forward.

After we sadly lost my mother in September, her vision became my driving force. I took my professional expertise from a 30-year career in marketing and advertising, combined it with my deep-seated love for baking, and poured it all into Popcuterie. The name itself – a fusion of the joyful “POP” of our snacks and the curated elegance of “charcuterie” – reflects this blend of fun, artistry, and premium quality.

Popcuterie is more than just a treat company; it’s a tribute. It’s a testament to a mother’s spirit, a daughter’s love, and a shared dream of bringing delight to others. Each item, from our gourmet popcorn and artisanal nuts to our meticulously crafted cake pops and delectable marshmallows, is made with the same care and intention that I put into those first treats made in a time of great personal challenge.

We believe that food has the power to connect us, to celebrate life’s moments, and to bring simple, unadulterated joy. That’s why we call them “Handcrafted Prime Snacks” – because they are made with the finest ingredients, crafted with expert care, and designed to deliver an exceptional experience.

Through Popcuterie, we aim to:

Even as I continue my roles as CEO of Epic Marketing Consultants, Program Director at the University of Delaware, and Founder at The Epic Collaborative Foundation, Popcuterie is my heart project, a living legacy. It’s my way of honoring my mother, sharing the joy she loved so much, and building something beautiful and impactful, one delicious POP at a time.
